NFL Draft Blast from the Past
While searching through a feature on the biggest NFL draft busts, Sportshair founding member One T discovered Brian Bosworth. His hair was legendary at the time, as it was a full on display of "attitude" rarely seen then. The shockwaves are still being felt today, as even modern athletes such as Andrei Kirilenko have shamelessly aped his style. He may have bombed for the Seahawks, but he did not bomb with Sportshair!

Wily Mo Peña- ticker tape blasts and ticker tape hair
Wily Mo Peña is getting more and more famous for his monstrous home runs (498 feet on April 17th, 2005), but we at sportshair love him just as much for his hair. Last year he had it in cornrows for the duration of the season, but he has learned to embrace the power of untamed hair (much like other sportshair luminaries Randy Moss and pre 2005 Johnny Damon). Wily, we salute you!

Johnny Damon out of control
Like any true fan of a good head of hair in the ballpark, I thought it was truly awesome when Johnny Damon unveiled his unfrozen caveman look. Here was a man who was not afraid to bring some flair to the ballpark- you had to admire him for his gusto. However, with the Red Sox winning it all last year, he has gone and ruined it. How? He has added GOLD highlights to his hair. Much like the frosted tips once sported by Bret Boone, it makes him look like the Queer eye guys got to him a little too much. No one has descended from Sportshair MVP to ghetto as fast as he did when he unveiled this new color:
